Atlanta, GA – May 19, 2025
In a meaningful demonstration of community support and service, Flamingo Custom Carts has donated a fully restored golf cart to the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center. The cart will be used to assist patients with transportation between parking areas and key medical buildings on campus.
The donation was inspired by an inquiry from VA staff about purchasing a cart for patient assistance. Rather than quoting a price, Flamingo Custom Carts recognized the opportunity to give back and decided to donate a cart already undergoing reconditioning at their Atlanta facility.
The refurbished cart was officially handed over to VA staff in a small ceremony attended by team members from both organizations. The vehicle now proudly bears the Flamingo logo, marking not just a gesture of goodwill but a commitment to continued service in the community.

A representative from Flamingo Custom Carts said:
When we learned about their need, we were fortunate to be in a position to help. This wasn’t about business—it was about people, and honoring those who served.
VA officials have confirmed a formal article and video interview are in production, which will showcase the cart in use and the impact it’s having on veterans navigating the facility. These media features will be published on VA channels and shared by Flamingo Custom Carts once released.
This initiative highlights Flamingo’s broader commitment to supporting veterans, improving accessibility, and investing in the well-being of local Georgia communities.
